There are many occasions when citizens wish to simply thank or commend certain members of the police department, and sometimes the entire department as whole, for any number of reasons.  The Department has received commendations by phone, email, and in person by individuals who simply want to say thank you or who want to commend police officer(s) or police employee(s) for specific acts.  In order for a thank you or commendation to be placed in the individual’s personnel file, it must be verified, which means we require your name and contact information.
