Storytime is an early literacy program that promotes literacy through print recognition, developing phonological awareness, practice fine motor skills, and increased oral communication. Join us every Friday at 10:30 a.m. for Baby Bounce, an early literacy program for children up to 18 months old. This program provides caregivers with a bonding experience with their child in which they can both explore the basics of literacy in a fun and supportive environment. Staff leading baby bounce will implement that “Every Child Ready to Read” ideas and practices, and parents will learn rhymes, stories, and activities that will encourage their little ones to master print recognition, letter knowledge, narrative skills, vocabulary skills, and phonological awareness.
