2009 CITY OF LAKE DALLAS SPECIAL EVENTS:
JULY-
4th of July
North Texas Nissan presents the Lake Cities 4th of July Celebration! Lake Dallas City Park (101 W. Hundley Dr.) hosts the celebration from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The park is filled with FREE 4th of July festivities! The festivities include an old-fashioned parade, kid's games, a giant water slide, inflatables, contests for CASH prizes, great food, art/craft booths and live entertainment. This year we will have our 3rd Annual Lake Cities Idol Competition! Eleven Hundred Springs is back for the 3rd consecutive year as the headlining entertainment and after they finish the evening is topped off with the biggest, most spectacular fireworks show the Lake Cities has ever experienced!

Waterfest at Willow Grove is a weekend filled with free kid's activities, live entertainment, outdoor recreation activities & exhibitors, the SuperCourse Nationals Jet Ski Racing Competition, contests, live bands and great vendors! Ridin Rails professional wakeboarders also put on a great show and offer free lessons.
