Solid Waste & Recycling Services
Collection day for all City of Lake Dallas residents is on every Monday.
On collection day, place your carts out for collection no later than 7:00 a.m., but no earlier than 6 p.m. Sunday evening. Carts should be removed from the street by Monday evening.
Between collection days, carts must be stored out of public view. For missed service or to request an additional trash cart, please contact us.
Only trash that is in a green Waste Management cart will be collected. Each residential unit shall be allowed to place up to two (2) additional plastic bags outside of the cart in the event that the cart(s) is/are full. If additional household waste in excess of two additional bags needs collection, you must contact us by Friday before 12:00 noon prior to your scheduled pick up the following Monday in order to schedule a bulk pick up. Households consistently requesting bulk pick ups will be required to add an additional cart to their account.
Hazardous household waste should never be placed in the carts. Motor oil, paint, pesticides among other hazards cause harm to the environment and must be disposed of properly. The Lake Dallas provides a Household Hazardous Waste program for solid waste customers. View information about how these items can be removed for FREE through the new Curb-side Household Hazardous waste program.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
