Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful
The mission and purpose of Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful (KLDB) is to engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their local community environments. This community improvement committee implements effective and systematic strategies for reducing waste, preventing litter and beautifying communities in the Lake Cities area. KLDB seeks to involve volunteers each year in hands-on community improvement activities, where they learn how to care for, preserve and protect our environment. Active in the community, KLDB works with businesses, schools, neighborhood groups and local governments to improve our neighborhoods and to reduce, reuse and recycle to preserve our resources for future generations. The KLDB Committee meets quarterly on the first second Tuesday of December, March, June, and September at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Dallas City Hall (212 Main Street).

Parks and Recreation Board
The Parks and Recreation Board exists to advise the City Council and Special Events Department regarding the establishment and operation of recreation programs conducted by the City of Lake Dallas for its citizens. The board carries out all other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by City Council.
The Parks and Recreation Board is committed to further its goals of providing the finest park and recreation programs and services possible with the human and capital resources available. The Parks and Recreation Board meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Dallas City Hall (212 Main Street).

Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning Commission is charged with the responsibility of proposing plans, policies and programs addressing the physical development and planning of the city. They also act in an advisory role for a variety of zoning ordinance and land development manual procedures.
The Commission consists of five members appointed by the City Council. A Chair and Vice Chair are elected by the members. Three members shall constitute a quorum. Regular meetings of the Commission are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers of the Lake Dallas City Hall, 212 Main Street, Lake Dallas, TX 75065.
