***Court dates scheduled for April 13, and May 4 have been cancelled. All the cases scheduled for April 13 will be rescheduled for June 1. All cases scheduled for May 4 will be rescheduled for June 16.***

To protect the health and safety of the community and our employees, and help minimize the potential spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), City of Lake Dallas has the following operational changes out of an abundance of caution. Municipal Court in-person proceedings will be temporarily limited. Please call the court for online services.

Alternative Payment Options

 Unable to Pay?

                You must request a court date and appear before the judge to request payment alternatives. Proof of income and expenses is required. If you or your dependent(s) receive federal assistance (i.e. food stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Women, Infants and Children (WIC), Medicaid, Section 8, disability), please be sure to indicate the type of assistance received on the financial affidavit and bring proof of the assistance received to court.

  • Lower Payment Plan Amount: If you are unable to pay the minimum monthly payment amount to satisfy your court obligation, please complete a Financial Affidavit and bring proof of income and expenses with you to court.
  • Community Service: If you are unable to pay and would like to request Community Service, please complete a Financial Affidavit and bring proof of income and expenses to court.
  • Indignancy/Waiver of Fees : If you are unable to pay and would like to have an Indignancy hearing, please complete a Financial Affidavit and bring proof of income and expenses to court.
